The nature of God seems to be a hard question. It also seems to be an important question.

The evidence for this is that so many people have been spending so much time on it for so long, with little or no consensus on the right answer.

Or perhaps altogether too many mini-consensuses.

Just what do we mean by "God"? What should we mean by "God", in whatever the correct sense of "should" is here? Should we avoid the word entirely, because the concept is so sacred? Or because it is so destructive?

We have assembled three prominent typefaces to discuss some of these issues. Over the years, these pages will grow, shrink, expand, transmogrify, and so on. Assuming the question remains important.
